Urban…
Glenmorris Cohen, international Architect and Designer for Urbanquest
Incorporated, is the quintessence of “Urban..” An award-winning
Architect from South Africa, Glenmorris graduated with many honours from
the prestigious University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He was the
Architect for the South African Air Force and had a well-known and
respected architectural firm in South Africa.
In Canada, he was the lead Designer for the firm Moffat Kinoshita and as
such was responsible for the design of many prize winning buildings such
as: Mills Memorial Library at McMaster University, McMaster Art Gallery,
Sheraton Parkway Hotel,
St. Mary’s Catholic High School- to name just a few! He is well
recognized as one of the world’s leading library designers and he takes
his fantastic use of space and light from this discipline and projects
it into each and every one of his spectacularly designed homes and
developments. Glen’s attention to detail, his maximization of space and
his exemplary architectural skills position him in a league of his own.
Quest…
Vivienne Ziner, President of UrbanQuest, transforms reality into fantasy
and fantasy into reality! Her vast experience in marketing and public
relations, the music and film industries, the travel business and
international real estate have propelled her to work in Europe, the
Middle East, Asia, the Caribbean, the United States… and of course,
Canada! She was the advertising and merchandising coordinator for Amtrak
in Washington, DC; did International Real Estate public relations in
Egypt, China and Europe; was in the music and travel business both in
Canada and abroad; and was vice-president of a public relations firm and
president of a film/video company in Canada respectively. Her
sensitivity and openness to different cultures, their needs and wants,
translates into her compassionate understanding of diverse people’s
unique desires. She is heavily involved in a multitude of organizations
and charities, sits on a number of boards and has created many fund
raising efforts, nationally and internationally. Vivienne’s “Quest” is
to create ultimate excellence in each and every facet of her ventures.
UrbanQuest
UrbanQuest was incorporated at the end of the last century, but brings a
collective experience of building and real estate development of over
fifty years to the table. Both Glenmorris Cohen and Vivienne Ziner were
raised in the lumber and building business and in both cases their
families were the largest independent lumber dealers in Southern Africa
and Ontario, respectively. They have jointly created a most prestigious
and respected development company. The people who have bought homes at
Eton Terrace, Chiara Gardens, Deer Park on the Heath and the clients of
their custom built and renovation work are truly recognized as the Who’s
Who of Canadian Business, Arts and Sports. They have received wonderful
acknowledgement and many positive articles in The National Post, The
Toronto Star and The Toronto Sun.
